Many questions arise when it comes to funding your training.
Whether you are unemployed, an employee, or a business owner, it is normal to have questions.

CPF

The CPF is your Personal Training Account, accessible through the official website : My Training Account.

You must first create your personal space. A budget will appear in this space, and you can use it to fund a training program.

Please note, not all training programs are eligible for the CPF. If you find your training on the website, you can use your budget to finance it.

Are you unemployed? You can contact your Pôle Emploi advisor for assistance in setting up this funding.

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING ASSISTANCE

“Pôle Emploi” can grant an Individual Training Aid (AIF) to contribute to the funding of the training fees for professional development, under certain conditions.
The application, approved by a Pôle Emploi advisor, must be submitted at least fifteen calendar days before the start of the training.

A quote and a training plan must be provided to your advisor through your Pôle Emploi account so they can assess the cost and duration of the training. You can obtain this document by clicking here: registration file.

If you are financing the training with your CPF and it does not cover the full cost, you can request co-financing in the form of additional funding from Pôle Emploi through your advisor.

Please note:
Financial aid for accommodation, travel, and/or meals may be granted under certain conditions, which should be validated with your Pôle Emploi advisor. Even if you do not have the “Aide au Retour à l’Emploi (ARE)”, you may still be eligible for the Pôle Emploi Training Allowance (RFPE) under certain conditions.

POEI / AFPR

The Individual Employment Preparation (POEI) and the Pre-Recruitment Training Action (AFPR) are two programs that link Pôle Emploi, the training provider, and an OPCO (Skills Operator).

Are you pre-selected by an employer to fill a position in their company, but you just need the appropriate training? There are two solutions to finance this training: POEI or AFPR.

In both cases, you need to contact your Pôle Emploi advisor and your future employer.

Conditions: You must be a job seeker AND have a job offer.

COMPANY EMPLOYEE

PROJECTS TRANSITION PRO

Do you want to change careers but are currently employed? A solution exists: The Professional Transition Project (PTP).

This program allows you to take leave from your job to attend training (while maintaining your salary) in order to acquire new skills and change careers or professions.

However, you must meet certain conditions and submit a funding application several months before the training begins. Your employer must also approve this request.

PERSONNAL TRAINING ACCOUNT (PTA)

You must create your account by visiting the My Training Account website.

A budget will appear in your account, and you can use it to fund a training program.

Please note, not all training programs are eligible for CPF. If you find your training on the website, you can use your budget to finance it.

If you are employed and wish to use your CPF, you will need to take days off to attend the training, as your salary will not be maintained during the training otherwise.

BUSINESS CREATORS

To obtain financial assistance for your training, you can turn to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
They will guide you to the different Training Insurance Funds based on your activity.

Once you know which insurance fund applies to you, you will need to contact them. We advise you to start the process as early as possible, as preparing the application can take time.

COMPANY DIRECTOR

OPCO

For any training requests, for yourself or your employees, you should turn to your Skills Operator (OPCO).
Your accountant can provide information on this. A file will need to be created with your OPCO. We advise you to start early as this process can take time.

POEI / AFPR

These two programs will connect Pôle Emploi, the training provider, and your OPCO.

To benefit from these aids, the following conditions must be met:

The candidate must be a job seeker.
A job offer must be signed for:
– Permanent contract (CDI)
– Fixed-term contract (CDD) of 12 months or more
– Indefinite-duration Professionalization contract
– Fixed-term Professionalization contract of 12 months or more
– Apprenticeship contract
– Temporary work contract for missions of at least 6 months within the next 9 months
